Elina Solomon, RDH -- Hygienist
Elina Solomon RDH is a highly qualified and experienced hygienist. She performs gentle yet thorough dental scaling, cleaning, and polishing of your teeth using the latest technology in periodontal diagnosis and treatment. She has been with the practice since 1996 and works hard to teach and motivate our patients in proper oral hygiene and preventative care. In my practice, I feel it is essential to prevent dental disease and to diagnose problems when they are early and most easily treated.
In 2008, Elina recorded this video, sharing without a script from her heart why potential patients should choose our dental practice for oral health care.

Pamela Drucker, RDH -- Hygienist
Pamela Drucker, RDH is with us on Fridays. She brings over 35 years of Dental Hygiene experience. Many of our patients already know and love Pamela for her warm, energetic nature and specialized expertise with patients needing more advanced periodontal care. Her presence in the office brings added expertise to our patients and a somewhat different approach to our preventive dental serves.
Pamela attended Brooklyn College, graduated president of her class from New York Community College, with honors from the dental hygiene program in 1978, and was elected to two dental hygiene honor societies: Tau Phi Sigma and Sigma Phi Alpha. Always one to value education, Pam has taken advanced courses in oral cancer screening and the application of local anesthesia and analgesia. The majority of her professional dental hygiene career has been acquiring years of clinical experience by working side-by-side for board-certified periodontists or highly skilled prosthodontists.
Keeping fit is an essential part of Pam’s daily life. She can be found in the gym at five a.m. each morning, and when it comes to running, Pam has completed five New York City marathons. She adores her Schnauzer, Stanley.

Lisa Lightner -- Dental Assistant
Lisa has been my dental assistant since 2010 and is excellent at facilitating all aspects of your dental visit. She is compulsive about cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and strives to have everything set up for the scheduled procedure before even seating the patient in the dental chair. Lisa loves to get to know our patients so she can explain what is planned and can answer almost every question a patient might be concerned about. She remembers the names of the extended family and what we know about them from previous visits -- birthdays, school and vacation activities, etc.; which can be difficult as many of our patient families involve two and three generations receiving dental care with us.
She is an avid learner and strives to improve her skills. She handles the sending and receiving of the work we send to outside labs. Lisa is critical with all complex dental procedures from setting up the equipment and dental materials for CEREC One-Visit crowns, onlays, and veneers; Implant placement, uncovering or restoring the implant with a crown. Proficiency with making Bleaching Trays, Mouthguards, Bruxism Appliances is among the important skills she has gained since coming to our office in 2010
