Pamela My Dental Hygienist, Elina Solomon RDH is a highly qualified and experienced hygienist. She performs gentle yet thorough dental scaling, cleaning and polishing of your teeth using the latest technology in periodontal diagnosis and treatment. She has been with the practice, for several years and works hard to teach and motivate our patients in proper oral hygiene and preventative care. In my practice, I feel it is most important to prevent dental disease and to diagnose problems when they are early and most easily treated. Pamela Drucker, RDH will be with us on Fridays. She brings over 25 years of Dental Hygiene experience and works in Park Avenue Periodontal Associates with Drs.. Alan Pollack, Alan Winter, Paul Karen, et. al. in that office during the other days of the week. Several of our patients who are seen there for combined care with our office already know and love Pamela for her warm, energetic nature and special expertise with patients needing more advanced periodontal care. Her presence in the office brings added expertise to our patients and continuity of care between the two offices. Jenny Borukhov RDH has also filled in providing hygiene services for our patients. If she resembles Elina, it is no coincidence since she is Elina’s sister. Jenny has worked for more than a decade with a colleague Robert Schortz, who was a Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellow with Dr. Rosenberg in 1978 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Our patients report that she is as thorough and gentle as Elina and brings a high level of expertise in Dental Hygiene to our patients on their road to achieving and maintaining Periodontal (Gum) Health. Office manager Dina helps to make your visit to our office as smooth as possible.   In addition, Dina’s responsibilities include completing and filing all insurance forms, arranging payments, setting up treatment plans, making appointments and scheduling your dental care. She can help you with financial arrangements for extensive treatment, including a no-interest to you plan with repayment over 12-months. Dina came to us from another office in Brooklyn, where she was both the receptionist and dental assistant. Angela "Angie" Wells with 26 years experience (save for the time her children were young and she was a full time Mom.) brings smiles to our patients with concerned, precise dental assisting. She has upgraded her skills since joining us in August 2004, attending continuing education with CEREC (including courses in New Jersey, Conn. and Michigan), T-Scan occlusal analysis and soft tissue management periodontics. She is not only proficient as a dental assistant, but holds certifications in CPR and as a EKG technician. She is licensed as both an LPN (nursing assistant) and an EKG technician. She has been very receptive to learning all of the high-technologies we use in the office The staff follows all of the OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines to make sure the operatory is prepared and safe for your care. They set up all of the instruments and dental supplies needed for the care you are to receive. They are knowledgeable with most of the dental procedures so that they can answer your questions or refer your questions to me for proper answers that are individualized to your dental care and situation. They assist me to provide the best care in the quickest and most efficient manner. They also share the responsibility of scheduling lab work and ordering dental supplies so that everything needed for your care will be here at your next scheduled visit. Most of us can assist you with billing questions, scheduling appointments, and assisting with X-rays. We are here help to make your stay enjoyable and fast. If we every fall short of those goals, please let us know so we may have the opportunity to give you better service.
