Swine Flu InformationAs some of you may know, I am a member of the New York City Medical Reserve Corps, which is a group of NYC Health care professionals who receive extra information and training to repond in the event of a City Health emergency. Since Friday, April 24 2009 we were notified of 8 cases of the Swine Flu (Influenza A H1N1 type) that had been identified in Texas and California. This is the same strain that had struck Mexico with 20 reported Swine Flu related deaths in Mexico City. Since the News is changing fast, I am posting this official link to the US Government's Centers for Disease Control and HHS information widget. Click below to get the latest information.
