I hear from many of my patients that a bright, pleasing
smile gives them more confidence. They tell my staff
and I that a great smile as an edge for holding onto their
jobs in tough economic times
-
If you are unemployed, or just looking at job alternatives,
Your Smile is crucial to make you stand out in an
interview!
-
I am sure you know that a job applicant with an attractive
smile is more likely to get hired than someone who’s in
need of a smile makeover.
-
A unattractive smile often gets interpreted as either a
lack of intelligence or as a person who doesn’t care about
themselves.
-
In a job interview, you are selling yourself and your
capabilities. The interviewer is looking for someone
who can not only do the job, but who will reflect on them
as having made a good choice. One interviewer may
overlook a “less than great” smile, but they have to sell
you to the rest of the team and your smile will affect how
these other crudial people in your interview process see
you.
-
In addition, smiles reduce stress on and off the job, while
frowns increase stress. There is a physical explanation for
this -- It takes only 17 muscles to smile and 43 muscles to
frown, so that the frown may look like aggretion rather
than a way you cover up your undisireable
smile.
-
If you cover your mouth with your hand as you talk, it
makes it harder for the other person to understand you, and
it gives the “wrong” message that you are hiding something
more important than your teeth.
Your smile improvement may be a simple as a routine
examination to check for decay, gum disease, sources of bad
breath, etc., appropriate x-rays (if needed) and a regular
cleaning (dental prophylaxis).
We also can provide deep scaling, root planing and CavitJet
(a harmless bicarbonate, air and water spray for) stain
removal.
For others who require restorations, we offer replacement

We also offer Invisalign for nearly invisible orthodontic
