Not everyone comes in for their needed cleaning every six months, as they should. You already know the reasons why you should:

• Oral Cancer screening,
• Periodontal Disease detection and prevention with the cleaning,
• A thorough Oral Exam to detect decay or cracked fillings or teeth
• Evaluation of your bite and TMJ (Temporo-Mandibular Joint)
• A thorough cleaning to:

My Staff and I work hard on this preventive approach to catch problems early. It may be simply recommending a different way to brush or floss, if we find an area you are missing with your regular home care. It may be giving you a specific product, such as an ultra-soft toothbrush and desensitizing toothpaste for root sensitivity. If we find a problem early, we can provide conservative treatment, and hopefully avoid more complicated treatment like root canal treatments or extraction. 

Some patients have been candid enough to tell me that what stops them is paying the whole fee at the time of the visit. Your electric and gas bills are probably on level-auto-pay, so that the same amount comes out each month directly from your bank account. That system is much less painful than having to pay big lump sums, when they vary by season.

I got to thinking, “Why not offer patients like you who don’t have insurance, a “Loyalty Program” where you can pay a small amount each month and get your two cleanings, your two dental check-up exams and a set of 4 bite-wing cavity and bone-height checking x-rays without thinking about paying at the time of the visit?” The normal fees you pay each year total $510 and if we divided that by 12 it equals $43.33 per month. That is less than your cell phone or cable TV bill each month!

I crunched the numbers and can offer two value-added incentives for you to sign up:T

• The Loyalty Program will cost you less, if you agree to be charged $35 per month for a full year (a savings of over $90 per year) and have it deducted directly from your credit card, or checking or savings account by PayPal (yes that’s the same company owned by eBay who handles payments of stuff bought on eBay and now hundreds of other merchants.) This program will renew for an additional 12 months automatically, unless you let us know in wriing that you wish to cancel this subscription.
